Housekeeper in Greenwich, Connecticut

I’ve been a housekeeper and nanny now for eight years, and a dog sitter for three years. I am a clean freak and I love what I do because the results are rewarding to me and I love making my clients *ecstatic*. For me, the best part of the job is always seeing my clients happy and helping them manage their homes and set up better systems of organization. But my absolute favorite thing is working with kids and I place more value than most on the level of sensitivity to a specific needs of a child/teen (no matter what age) and ensure the best approach is taken. Being disciplinary but understanding and open-minded to the unique kids of kids today is important to working with them best, and I want to help them improve and find more joy in their life. Whether it's school work, extracurriculars, or finding inventive games to play/adventures to plan I am always ahead of the game. I currently work full-time as a self-employed dog walker/sitter and housekeeper but I also nanny and perform general errands for families in my network when needed. I work great with kids and most recently I was a live-in nanny for a single mom with three kids (ages 8, 12, and 18) in the Hamptons this past summer. I helped transport the kids to activities and their dad's house every other weekend. I also did everyone's laundry in the house and followed a strict regimen of sorting/ironing/folding. I did odd jobs like picking up fresh vegetables from the market every week, grocery shopping, sorting spices, etc. I'm very energetic and bubbly but easy going and I absolutely love kids and deal with every age group very well. I autonomously possess the natural instinct to tidy and organize the house and think ahead in terms of my responsibilities and how to best coordinate my role and responsibilities on a strict timeline. I'm very respectful of my client's preferences in terms of attitude and professionalism and that is one of my first personal goals--to understand your family climate and to get to know you on a personal level so I can work for you in the most effective way with a seamless transition into your home and my responsibilities.
