Housekeeper in St. Louis, Missouri

Hello, and thank you for reading my profile. I am seeking a position as a housekeeper, either part-time or full-time. Until recently, I have spent 95% of my career in the corporate world (Executive Assistant, Marketing Manager, Software Production, etc.). After losing every single job through no fault of my own (downsizing for financial reasons, companies sold, companies going out of business, etc.) I took a chance with my last position and accepted an offer for a job completely out of my realm. It wasn't a tough job ... it was just something I had never done before. This job was as a Building Maintenance Supervisor. I really didn't do much "maintenance." It was more of a housekeeping position than a maintenance position. In this role, I was responsible for the safety, cleanliness and appearance of a 115,000 square foot facility that featured a bar/grill, a retail store, 16 locker rooms, private meeting and party rooms that could accommodate up to 100 people, a spacious lobby that could accommodate up to 500 for corporate/social outings, and two smaller rooms that could accommodate smaller groups, plus 5 employee offices. Although I lost this job due to the owners selling the building (which was eventually torn down to make room for a new business), management told me prior to closing how happy they were with me and the work I performed and the pride I took in my work. They also said had I been there 5 years earlier, they probably would have never sold the building because of the improvements I made in the overall appearance of the facility. It was a great compliment, and it made me realize how much I truly enjoyed this kind of work. That is what lead me to this site. I am hoping to find a family, or even a single individual, who is so busy in their daily lives that they need someone to assist them in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of their home. It would be ideal to find employment in one home, working a normal 9-5 during the week. However, I am also open to finding multiple homes where I may spend 4-5 hours, once per week taking care of. Because my children are grown, this allows me the opportunity to be extremely flexible and able to work any time during the day/night, in addition to weekends (for those last minute guests who may be coming for a visit). In addition, I love children (having raised 3 boys as a single parent), and would also be open to a nanny/housekeeper position.
