Home Owner in Washington
We are seeking a full-time or heavy part time (25-45 hours per week) house manager/administrator/nanny for a family with two children who will attend preschool from 8:30-3 pm most days. The position could be live-in or live-out. In addition to some hands-on childcare and help with preschool drop offs and pick ups, duties will encompass general tidying, keeping the kitchen clean, preparing family dinners, laundry and ironing, errands, grocery shopping, preparation for holidays and social gatherings, watering plants, and other Housekeeping chores and child-related tasks. Occasional full-day backup childcare will also be part of the job, but the majority of the employee's time will be spent on Housekeeping, cooking, errands, etc. rather than hands-on childcare. Qualified applicants must like kids, speak and read English, be non-smokers, and be licensed to drive. We would prefer someone who is willing to drive her own car on the job, with carseats remaining installed. We are based in NW DC.
