In my previous work and volunteer experience, I have learned to work independently, and as a member of a team. I have strong attention to specific detail and a good work ethic. I have persistence in work, continuing to work on assignments for a long time, handing in assignments to my teachers on time, arriving to class/work on time, and so on. I am successful at repetitive work, and I don’t feel bored with it. Therefore, I have been able to pay attention to details over long periods, even in repetitive work. I have been diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder. Many people would know it as being related to autism. This doesn’t affect my relationships with people or work except for two things. First, I need to confirm my instructions to make sure I understood properly. Once I am clear about my job, I can do it well. Second, this actually helps me to be focused on details and not get bored with repeated work.
