Housekeeper in Port Carling, Ontario

I am a professional home manager in the Muskoka area. I say home manager because my skills and experience go way beyond basic cleaning and housekeeping. I have been in the tourism and home management business for ten years. For the past five years, I was employed as the general manager of a high-end estate service company in Port Carling. I have gained extensive experience in home and cottage cleaning, managing various groups of cottage service workers, property maintenance, damage and insurance inspections and the cottage rental for-profit industry. The standard of cleaning I have become accustomed to is very detail orientated and exceeds expectations. I take pride in providing clients with a luxury hotel-style experience. While most days there will not be enough time to tackle every deep cleaning project, I am very good at prioritizing work and documenting what has been completed and what jobs will be addressed at the next visit. I sit down with every potential client to work out a checklist that outlines the jobs that will be done each visit, monthly, yearly or as requested. I bring all of my own supplies unless the client has something specific they would like to be used. I always start with the most natural products such as dish soap and warm water and work up from there if necessary. I have a cleaning partner with similar experience who helps me on a regular basis by cleaning alongside me or covering for me if I am not available. It is recommended to build a relationship with both of us to take advantage of the productivity of a team and increased availability.
