Position Summary Provides a variety of cleaning and service duties to maintain a comfortable, sanitary, and orderly surrounding for Principals, Executives and visiting guests. Completes assignment of duties; primarily housekeeping service and hospitality service for the homes and yachts for highly successful family business owners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Experience working in the Private Home Industry • Perform the following duties for the Principals and their corporate and personal guests; prior experience required: o Meal and Drink Service o Assisting Chef in Kitchen preparation and cleaning o Standard housekeeping duties o Thoroughly dust and polish furniture, woodwork and light fixtures o Vacuum carpeting, sweep and mop floors o Cleaning, ironing, folding and hanging laundry, storing linens o Thoroughly wash windows, when needed o Daily room recovery o Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes bathroom and kitchen surfaces and appliances o Removes trash and other recyclables o Ensures cleanliness of all laundry, including dry cleaning o Safely handles cleaning products o Safely and efficiently operates cleaning equipment and tools o Maintains adequate supply of cleaning products o Maintains and organizes stocked inventory of all cabinets, refrigerator and Pantry o Provides care for pets (feeding, cleaning, health, walking and waste removal) o Notifies appropriate personnel of problems and issues associated with properties o Provisions for groceries and performs errands, as directed o Complies with company policies and procedures o Performs other duties as needed o Will perform wait staff duties during special events at Estates or Boats for special events • Traveling, at a moment’s notice, to serve wherever needed, for any of the properties, which include ground, air, and boat transportation. • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness necessary for the safe and efficient operation of homes and yachts • Performs other duties as needed Primary Contacts (outside dept.) • Principals, Guests, vendors, corporate office Education and Experience • High School Degree or GED • Five year’s experience in Private Home Industry, Yachting or Hospitality Industry Skills and Abilities • Exceptional positive attitude with strong energy • Immaculate Appearance • Trustworthy • Skills & knowledge developed through professional interest and ongoing learning • Common sense & good listening skills • Able to think on your feet • Being tech savvy • Anticipating guests and your Principal’s needs • Able to respond quickly to a variety of tasks • Ability to work long hours • Bring a calming effect • Confidentiality at all times • Ability to multi-task • Good with pets • Must be able fluent in English, Spanish is a plus Working Conditions and Environment • Must have own transportation and accommodations • Intermittently lift, carry, pull, and push up to 20 pounds • Continuously see, sit, have balance • Frequently hear; talk; have repetitive use of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers; and grasp • Occasionally stand, grasp, and walk on even surfaces • Work in small, confined spaces • Intermittently stoop/bend, twist, crouch, kneel, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders, operate foot and hand controls, and squeeze • Exposure to dust, dirt, stacked materials, high places, electrical equipment, and machinery • Occasional long or odd hours
