PART-TIME ESTATE-LEVEL HOUSEKEEPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60611 (GOLD COAST) Professional household is seeking a dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable part-time estate-level housekeeper. Duties include: Assisting head 2 housekeepers with daily cleaning and upkeep of the 7,500 square foot apartment, polishing silver, care for special furnishings, caring for artwork, laundry and ironing. The household has 2 head housekeepers that this person will work under so must work well in a team atmosphere. The ideal candidate should have some experience working in an estate or a high-end home. It is very important that this person is discrete, calm and very trustworthy. Qualifications: Have good listening and observation skills Works well with other house staff (2 housekeepers and house manager) Have a positive problem solving attitude Excellent communication skills (prompt, clear communication by email and verbally) Be professionally mature and discrete in regards to client's privacy Be able to pass an extensive background check that also includes a credit check. This is a long-term position for 3 days and 12 hours a week. Work days and hours: 3 days a week 11am-3pm. Famiy can be flexible with which 3 days the candidate works. *Some flexibility needed to work more hours when family is in town (about 2-3 times a year)
