Housekeeper Job in Lake Grove, New York

Job Description: •Receive and unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment and inspection for damages loss, or defects •Maintain product, tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner •Perform inventory control and keep quality standards high for audits •Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers •Ability to operate a computer to assist in tags, fill out daily checklist and forms •Inspect goods for defects and damages •Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolvable •Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties •Assembling and moving furniture throughout the showroom on a daily basis Requirements: •Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience in receiving and assembling •Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills •Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions •Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment •Ability to lift, lower, push or pull furniture up to and in excess of 100lb •Ability to stand for long periods of time •Possess a clean, neat, and professional appearance •Serve customers with a high level of courtesy •Apply troubleshooting abilities to solve potential customer service issues
