My name is Maggie O’Rourke. I am twenty-four years old, and I graduated with honors from the Child and Youth Worker Program at Humber College in January 2013. My immense passion for the health and well being of others is a trait that I carry through my everyday, but would really like to translate it into a purposeful pursuit. With utmost confidence, I can say that I would be an asset to your agency not only because I am hard working and reliable, but also because I am compassionate, empathetic, and take great initiative in everything I pursue. My oral, and written communication skills exceed those of an average expectation, and my knowledge of therapeutic intervention strategies is extensive. Aside from Child and Youth Work, three of my most valued skills are cooking, visual artistry, and creative writing. Depending on the nature of the agency it is my hope to bring a creative perspective into any type of therapeutic programming, as a beneficial tool for self-expression. Through my life experience I have developed an incredibly open mind.
