Housekeeper Job in Brookfield, Wisconsin

A physically disabled woman is looking to hire an experienced housekeeper that can clean her home once a week. Do you love to clean? I mean LOVE to clean. If the sound of a vacuum motor really gets you revved up and you live for that squeaky-clean feeling, chances are this job is for you. You would be responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat, and tidy. Specific duties may include but are not limited to: deep cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, sinks, shower, bath tub, and mirrors) and kitchen (counter-tops, sink, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave) and vacuuming all floors, mopping all hard surface floors, vacuuming and dusting furniture, cleaning walls and windows, emptying and sanitizing waste baskets, water plants. Perform errands and special projects as requested by supervisor. Other responsibilities: Ability to take direction from supervisor Understanding of how to clean a home to present a welcoming environment for house guests Successfully multi-tasks, managing many small tasks or processes with attention to the details Have the ability to effectively have good verbal communications. Needs to be flexible, dependable, and responsible! Internally motivated; works well and achieves results with little or no supervision Expect you to be efficient and hardworking with a good eye for detail. Maintain vacuums, cleaning caddies and supplies used to perform job. Inform supervisor when housekeeping supplies and home inventories are low. You may be on your hands and knees cleaning, and you'll need to be able to lift things (up to 50 lbs.) from time to time, so being physically fit will be important. You'll have to dust, so if you have allergies, this might not be the right job for you. Proven ability to manage and prioritize time towards achieving the work assigned within the time frame allotted. Starting pay is $10.00 per hour. Pay will increase depending on job performance!
