Reporting to the General Manager, Executive Housekeeper may will serve, at times as the Hotel Manager on Duty and be expected to exemplify the values and standards of the hotel. Requirements of this position will be: Understanding and strong ability to exemplify great guest service Ability to develop and mentor a team that strives for high goals, accountability and performance Understanding of scheduling and labor efficiencies To ensure that all guest rooms and public rooms are serviced and cleaned to brand standards. Flexibility to work required shifts of high demand, as well as emergency coverage Ability to establish a disciplined team work ethic, as well as an enjoyable “open door” culture Agile and comfortable with decision making, as well as empowerment Knowledge of and adherence to brand standards The desired applicant maintains a high level of professionalism in appearance, conduct, ethics and image and is determined to assist employees in gaining the same high level of professionalism. Their management approach will effectively demonstrate "servant leadership" and consistent coaching and feedback. Commitment to the success of the team members and the hotel and a hands-on, lead-by-example approach, are necessary. Hotel housekeeping or management experience is essential. Knowledge of Sparkle and Opera PMS would be an asset.
