Housekeeper Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Job Title: Part-Time, Live-Out Driving Child Care/Household helper Mississauga/Streetsville Position Description: We are currently seeking an individual who is trained in working in a family home to help with the day to day management of a household with 2 children (in school full time). The core responsibilities of this job will include: being a trustworthy, experienced caregiver to our children, helping with household chores (cleaning the house and doing the laundry) and will be expected to drive the children (will require a valid driver’s license) to their various activities or required travelling errands, pick up groceries and to prepare meals. Job Qualifications: • Able to help manage the household daily tasks (cleaning, laundry, preparing meals, grocery shopping etc.) • Experience caring for children • Candidates with a “clean”, safe driving history and a valid driver’s license may be able to use the family vehicle. Otherwise, the candidate may use their own vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license • Authorization to work in Canada • English proficiency • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy • Ability to plan, organize, multitask, and work efficiently with minimal supervision Hours and rate of pay: • $16.00 to $21.00 per hour (plus 50 cents per km if providing own transportation for driving errands), 10-20 hours per week. Flexible work hours, however, the hours will predominantly be 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday (daytime hours).
