Housekeeper Job in Houston, Texas

This position is located at LBJ hospital. The pay range is from $9.26 - $...st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Responsibilities Assist in all activities of the Environmental Services department. Willing to work with management and co-workers by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Harris Health facilities. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Will oversee and take responsibility for assigned area(s). Direct report to Supervisor. Qualifications High School Graduate or GED or six months of recent commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED. Six months of recent commercial housekeeping preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate English and follow oral instructions. Position requires: lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 61 or more pounds; bending/stooping frequent; reading above shoulder level occasional; driving automatic equipment frequent; working with heavy machinery occasional; climbing; continuous walking; standing; sitting; and exposure to toxic/hazardous conditions.
