Housekeeper Job in Santa Ana, California

The John Henry Foundation is looking to hire a Kitchen Assistant/Housekeeper to work in the kitchen and residences of our residential program for adults with mental illness. The job of the Housekeeper/Kitchen Assistant is to: 1. Maintain bathroom and house cleanliness 2. Maintain kitchen, dining room, pantry cleanliness when needed 3. Follow written and verbal instructions in English 4. Work collaboratively with other Housekeeping and Kitchen Staff 5. Ensure that all cleaning and food safety protocols are being followed The position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team-setting, work solo on certain projects, as well as to be able to prep and serve some meals without assistance. In addition, we are looking for someone who is patient, caring, and can contribute to our home-like atmosphere for our residents. Minimum Qualifications: 18 years of age Ability to get First Aid/CPR certified Medical/TB Clearance Ability to pass DOJ/FBI Fingerprinting Clearance Negative Drug Test Results Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
