Housekeeper Job in Chicago, Illinois

We are looking for a full time house keeper to maintain our home, run errands, and help organize. Right now, we need someone for 6-7 hours a day and 5 days a week with occasional weekends. We need someone with an extremely flexible schedule that can work around last minute schedule changes as we have a hectic lifestyle. This will start off as a part time position for the first few weeks while the right candidate will be trained and will then become full time---depending on how things work out for both parties. We have a 2 bedroom apartment with 2. 5 bathrooms and our family consists of me, my husband, and our 11-month-old son. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to tasks like daily vacuuming, mopping/polishing hardwood floors, keeping all surfaces clean and dust free, preparing meals if needed, preparing homemade baby food as instructed, laundry for the entire family, ironing laundry and bedding, make our bed and keep baby's bed cleaned throughout the day, hand washing/towel drying all dishes, wiping down all baby play area surfaces, taking care of maintaining and cleaning/changing filters for things like vacuum's, humidifiers, air purifiers, and other appliances. putting away all packages received/retrieving mail, maintaining household inventory for all supplies/groceries, etc. M U S T be able to follow and remember detailed instructions, multi task, and read directions/plans written for the day and understand English!! The right candidate MUST be able to self manage and not waste time and be able to manage their time exceptionally well as there are a lot of things going on at once and all things must get done daily and on time and revolve around my son's nap times/meal times. The right candidate will also be motivated and maintain cleanliness and organization without having to be told (after being trained). Must be patient and understanding and have the initiative to help out and assist in anyway without always being asked...we really need someone who can anticipate our needs and become part of the family!
