Job Title: Experienced Housekeeper – Private Family Residence Location: Langley, BC Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $26.50/hr 100% employer-paid Health and Dental Benefits after probation period. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to manage the day-to-day upkeep of a private family home. The ideal candidate views housekeeping as a profession and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful, well-organized, and smoothly run home. They are meticulous, proactive, and discreet, with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. This position is best suited for someone who: • Has several years of professional housekeeping experience, ideally in private homes • Is committed to excellence and consistency • Takes ownership of their role and strives to add value to the household • Sees this as a long-term opportunity, not just a temporary job Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine housekeeping duties throughout the home, including: o Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens o Dusting and vacuuming all living areas o Mopping floors and wiping surfaces o Tidying and organizing as needed • Change bed linens and make beds • Laundry: washing, drying, folding, ironing and steaming clothes and linens • Maintain cleanliness of appliances, counters, and cupboards • Take out garbage, recycling, and compost • Replenish household supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) • Alert the employer to any maintenance issues or household needs • Providing 1–2 hours per day of general cleaning at the owners nearby business location (e.g., wiping surfaces, vacuuming, emptying bins) Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional housekeeper or cleaner in a private home or professional setting • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Discreet and respectful of household privacy • Physically able to perform housekeeping tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada • References required Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm Start Date: June 16, 2025 To Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief introduction outlining your housekeeping experience and availability.
