WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HOUSEKEEPER FOR GENERAL LIGHT CHORES Retired President of Revlon Global & my retired physician husband are looking for a housekeeper as my housekeeper of 19 years has had to move to Florida. In fact today was her last day and I organized a luncheon to honor her..... have always treated our help with great respect and many have come to feel like family . Indeed Paula-- this last one of 19 years and I had tears in our eyes as we said our goodbyes. I have sponsored my live in help several times in the past 45 years and all were treated like family. Once again this is a regular light housekeeping I always bring in professionals for anything outside the realm of day to day light cleaning. As long as we get minor cleaning on a regular basis and I have learned over the years that the key here is regular Only light cleaning, vacuuming dusting, etc as it is only the 2 of us ( although my mother in law is 94 and it is likely that she will move with us. Although amazingly healthy and independent, she will bring her long term nurse/professional assistant for many years now and there is nothing to do regarding her.. We live in a condo in a gated community on the water in Port Washington North We are great to work for and whether at home or in the work place when I was President of Revlon, and Senior Vice President Of L’Oréal I always insist on the employer provide the candidate with reference as well as the normal references from the job applicant you can goggle” JoAnn Segal Phd “ and you will see my extensive philanthropic work ( thus the PhD in Clinical Psych ) We are totally flexible & can customize the job in all areas days, times & hours per day Over the years , I have had help in all areas on the spectrum from total live in free room and board etc to allowing my help, That is the mentor in me. Indeed I enjoy assisting young ladies to find their way and be ready to move up . I enjoy encouraging to find young ladies in finding their way. This arrangement has prove quite successful for some of our housekeepers & we had had positive for our help many times over the years . Many times I have allowed them to work outside of my home as there is no way we could stretch our chores to 6-8 hours daily (---as long as someone is here for basic day to day up keep of our home. You will be treated with respect can be an extension to our family This arrangement has worked out extremely favorable for all those who choose that arrangement - You can be junior as we enjoy helping those that need a job and a temporary family as this is an easy position- with various arrangements made. My husband, a retired physician will be more than happy to provide transportation. I have sponsored two housekeepers and there is only light cleaning thus a young lady who has no experience can find a great opportunity as there is no pressure and its just basic cleaning and vacuuming Nothing but light cleaning in the kitchen as my husband loves to cook & now since he has retired He insists n "running his own gourmet kitchen. I suppose it runs in the family His brother is one of the top chefs in the US. My husband never had the time to pursue his gourmet skills when we were younger and so busy socially and of course both working.
