Housekeeper Job in Raleigh, North Carolina

We are seeking a dedicated and professional housekeeper to join our household. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, changing, and laundering. Attention to detail and experience are required. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn. Housekeeper Duties Responsibilities: - Maintaining the cleaning closet and ordering new supplies - Keeping kitchen clean daily, including general sweeping, surface cleaning, running dishwasher, putting dishes away. - Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed, likely rotating from week to week between areas or floors of the house - Dispose of trash from bins and containers - Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed - Scrub sinks and toilets (4 bathrooms) weekly, clean tubs and showers (2 bathrooms) as needed. - Do family laundry (3 family members including one child) once a week, including folding or ironing as needed. - Rotate between special cleaning projects every couple weeks (e.g. clean window screens for the house, reorganize a closet, setup organizational system for the garage or playroom) - Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered. - - Call and organize appointments for repairs as needed, working with the family to coordinate - Feed the (friendly) family cat and empty the litter box when the family is out of town. - Light shopping for the family including grocery shopping (with lists provided) 1-2x per week Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications: - Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time - Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds - Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time - Previous experience cleaning preferred - Ability to assist family as needed - Pays attention to detail when cleaning - Organized and able to follow a schedule - Good with cats and children Additional Availability: We can likely work around your schedule.
