Location: Malibu Colony & Bel Air Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8:30am – 5:30pm (30 min lunch break every day) Compensation: $35/hour , DOE! Big job fit for a true superstar housekeeper!! A couple in Malibu is in need of a fantastic executive housekeeper who can help maintain both of their homes, one in Malibu and one in Bel Air (you will work wherever they are living at the time). Must be willing to drive back and forth as needed, and gas mileage will be reimbursed. The couple would like to find someone who is sharp, an amazing cleaner (leaves no surfaces dusty and doesn’t forget to vacuum underneath the furniture), and has longevity working in homes. The couple will not consider anyone who has multiple short term jobs. We need a team player who truly loves to keep a home spotless and keep a very clean, comfortable, tidy environment – they want the very best! There is another housekeeper who has been with them for many years who comes in the evenings and on the weekend. When the family is out of town, it is the perfect time to do deep detailed cleaning, and an entire reset of the house. Ideally, we would like to find someone who understands the dynamics of working in a high end home with lots of moving parts, respecting the couple’s privacy and space. MUST know how to read a room, so when the couple is getting ready in their master upstairs, you can focus on the downstairs and start on laundry and cleaning the kitchen. Or if the couple is in the kitchen, then you can start upstairs in the master. Responsibilities/Requirements: MUST be text savvy and quick to respond as the staff is on a group chat to keep everyone in the loop during the day Must speak and understand English very well Excellent at cleaning/detailed cleaning Great attention to detail and will daily check the house for things that need attention Excellent with laundry and ironing, as that is a daily responsibility for all the items that are cleaned in-house Certain items go to the dry cleaners on a weekly basis Keeping track of the professional dry cleaning, what was picked up and what has been delivered to ensure nothing goes missing. Hard working, loyal, dedicated, trustworthy Have a great track record of attendance at work, and shows up on time. Receiving groceries and putting them away Cutting fresh fruit. Help in the kitchen when needed. Cleaning the refrigerator/freezer really well once a week Throw out old and expired food Clean the oven Wiping down the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen (and also in Mrs closet) Make the bed everyday Receiving packages delivered to the house Making sure the bathrooms are nice and clean throughout the day Clean the floors everyday, focus on the high traffic areas where everyone comes in and out of everyday and the dogs Keep kitchen clean throughout the day/after every use. Check kitchen and laundry floors are clean regularly Answering the phones, answering the gate when someone is there and opening. (must be aware of where the dogs are so as not to open the gates if the dogs are outside) Will need extra help when couple hosts parties from time to time, staying later to help clean during the party Help care for the dogs (2 dogs, a westie and husky) feeding them in the afternoon Check the mail *MUST know how to set a schedule for yourself in order to stay on top of everything that needs to be done in the house!
