Housekeeper Job in McLean, Virginia

The Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping duties for a 6-bedroom/7- bath home (6,000 sq ft) located in McLean, VA and ensuring that everything is clean and in good order at all times. The Housekeeper must be experienced and perform a high quality of work. 5 days/week, 30 hours/week $30-35/hour (based on experience) Start date as soon as possible Responsibilities: 1. Perform all traditional cleaning tasks around the home to include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing of bathrooms, both inside and outside the home as appropriate (i.e. light window washing, sweeping garage) 2. Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, linens and bath mats. 3. Assist homeowner with the organization of the home including closets, cabinets, and living spaces. 4. Monitor cleaning supplies and make sure that the home is always well stocked. 5. Respond in a timely manner to any unforeseen issues that occur. 6. Report any damage that occurs to the property to the owner or family office. 7. Other duties at the direction of the homeowner. Competencies: 1. Self-starter – motivated to perform at a high level 2.
