Housekeeper Job in Mississauga, Ontario

We are seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Live-In Housekeeper / Nanny to join our household. The primary focus of this role is on housekeeping, household maintenance, and cleanliness. Comfort around pets, particularly dogs, is essential. While cooking skills are a bonus, they are not a requirement. Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping & Home Maintenance Full cleaning of the interior of the home and immediate exterior areas Detailed kitchen cleaning: dishes, counters, pantry, floors, inside/outside of fridge, cupboards, oven, and dishwasher Laundry: washing, drying, and folding clothes and household items Ironing and steaming garments Bed making and regular linen changing Seasonal closet rotation and organization Pantry management: regular rotation of food, disposal of expired items Household Management Maintaining household supply inventory and ensuring items are always stocked Coordinating and supervising tradespeople or contractors when needed Light meal preparation and/or service (not required but considered an asset) General upkeep and presentation of the home Other Duties Basic plant care, both indoor and garden plants Comfortable caring for and being around multiple household pets, including dogs Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar live-in housekeeper/nanny role preferred Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized home Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Pet-friendly and capable of assisting with animal care Discreet, respectful of privacy, and professional demeanor Valid work authorization in Canada Compensation & Accommodation: Competitive salary based on experience Private accommodation within the home
