Housekeeper Job in Oroville, Washington

Job Description: I am seeking a housekeeper for an off-grid cabin with wonderful views of Okanagan region which will be rented out on Airbnb for part of the year, located just outside Oroville near Blue Lake. Although this is not a full-time job, I would prefer to find one person to rely on who can grow with the site as it expands. Please see the last paragraph on future opportunities. Services: The job will entail the standard cleaning and linen change between guests. In addition, the site has off-grid power and water systems which will need to be checked on a regular basis. This will either be as part of preparing the site for the next guest or weekly, bi-weekly or monthly checks whenever the site is vacant. The time it takes to do these checks will be included in the service fee which goes to you. The frequency of checks during site vacancy is to be determined, but it should be an easy way for you to earn a little extra cash on a regular basis during the off-season. Skills and Experience: Beyond the usual housekeeping skills, familiarity off-grid systems would be preferred. Such systems include sailing vessels, larger boats, recreational vehicles (RV) like a 5th wheel, motorhome, or camper vans/trailers, and of course other off-grid homes. However, no experience is necessary so long as you're willing and able to learn. Expansion and Growth Opportunities: The initial listing will only include the main cabin which has 2 beds and 1 bath and is 964 sq ft. However, the site has two additional buildings which will be converted to guest houses along with a motorhome that will be placed at a nearby location once. I expect those projects to be complete by next summer. In addition, the parcel the site sits on is 20 acres and may be suitable for additional activities such as "glamping" and horseback riding. Further, I am also purchasing a nearby 33 acre parcel for further development and for raising goats. Beyond the many additional hours you can earn in the near future, there is an opportunity to become a full time site manager.
