Housekeeper Job in Lafayette, Indiana

MUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE DOGS Heritage Deuce Farm, East Side of Lafayette, Indiana, near Rossville, is now interviewing potential employees for the multi-faceted role, all rounder, for a full time DOMESTIC HOUSEHOLD MANAGER HOUSEKEEPER & PERSONAL ASSISTANT, for our two homes on our working grain farm. This position is paid by salary, this is not a by the hour job. Starting salary of $19,200 per year and is paid bi-weekly on Mondays by check. Three scheduled pay increases in salary per year will be composite with your experiance, work performance, attitude, and education. You are responsible for your own taxes. Benefits include at one year five (5) days paid vacation, at six months you will receive six (6) paid personal/sick days if needed, (doctor appointments, funerals, etc.) and a gym membership at Faith Baptist Community Center in Lafayette. A mentally mature, sharp minded, responsible individual with knowledge and experiance with time management, managing a household, properly cleaning a home, care of fabrics, ability to multi task, follow directions, and work unsupervised is required. Working knowledge of how to clean and manage a home is required. Must have a working know-how and ability of all of the roles within a private residence. A sample of duties, not complete list: Light cooking breakfast and supper, laundry, bed linens, ironing, general and heavy house cleaning, grocery ordering, grocery shopping and other, keeping calendar for primary, caring for dogs grooming, vet appointmenets, medication, walking, bill paying, banking, household food/cleaning items/paper items garden inventory, making appointments, running errands, driving to doctor and other appointments,light gardening, bird feeders and baths. Everything involved in running a home and keeping it ging smoothly, anticipating the needs of primaries. Must own your own reliable vehicle and have insurance. Must have a clean police and driving record. Ten cents per mile paid for errands using your vehicle. Our vehicle is used the majority of time for errands Mon-Fri 7:45-5:30 Sat and Sun four hours in morning Required: Background check, credit check, referances from employers, an employee work contract Not required, but a big plus is a degree BS/BA in Hospitality, business managment, courses in household management in managing private residences. Must be emotionally mature, experienced, responsible, able to think and work quickly, problem solve, manage time, take instruction, able to lift 40 lbs consecutively and be ready to work.
