Housekeeper Job in Port Carling, Ontario

Muskoka cottage residence on Lake Joseph is looking for a live in weekend housekeeper for the Summer season. Someone capable of multi-tasking, a self-starter and able to manage their time efficiently. It’s a 6 bedroom home with boathouse property attached. It’s a busy home so the right person will have a sense of family within our space. Approximate weekly schedule will be Thursday – Sunday/Monday (can be somewhat flexible but mainly focused on weekends). Starting end of June and going through until September labour day. Live out will be considered for a local candidate. Approximately 10 – 12 hours/day starting late morning/mid-day. Own car & driver’s licence would be an asset Primary Responsibilities: • Daily cleaning & tidying of the residence • Maintaining organization throughout the residence • Managing household product inventory and shopping lists • Laundry & bed preparation • Working with the chef on setting tables/serving and clean-up of both lunch and dinner • Stocking and cleaning of the boathouse when guests are present for the day Salary: • Paid travel time .milage (if driving your own car) • Open to either hourly or day rate • Room and board included • Starting rate: $22/hour If this sounds like it could be the role for you please email [email protected] for more information.
