Housekeeper Job in Saratoga, California

Hello! We are a friendly family of 5 (mom, dad, grandma, and 2 boys aged 9 and 12) living in Saratoga, California. We are looking for a live-in housekeeper. Duties: The duties in this role include: general tidying up (washing dishes, wiping counters, picking up toys/clothes, doing beds, sweeping/mopping etc.), laundry, food prep (cutting vegetables, meats, etc.), breaking down boxes, stocking supplies, breaking down boxes, taking out garbage, etc. We may ask you to run simple errands (eg. pick up groceries, drop off drycleaning, drop kids to sports practice) from time to time. We can provide you with a car for this, or you can use your own. Hours: We can be somewhat flexible in the hours - this can be a part time position (20-30 hours per week) or a full time position (40 hours per week). If part time, we can be somewhat flexible in hours (eg. 7-9am and then again from 5pm-8pm, allowing for someone to work/study from home during business/school hours). Live-in Details: Please note this is a live-in position only. You will have your own large bedroom with attached bathroom and TV (with cable, Netflix, etc.) and full access to Internet, in a newly renovated, 5,000 square foot home in a lovely area that is surrounded by greenery, hiking/biking trails, and with easy access to all amenities. Parking is easy. You are free to eat all your meals with us, or prepare your own in our kitchen at your preference. Other Details: During the Pandemic, we are being super-careful with social distancing, mask wearing, etc. We are looking for someone who has the same careful philosophy and is not expecting to leave the house regularly to meet/interact with other people. That is why this is a live-in only position. Also, we want to be clear that this is largely a housekeeping/household manager/personal assistant-type role. While we have 2 children, and may ask you to help with duties related to managing them, this role is largely to maintain the home.
