Housekeeper Job in Squamish, British Columbia

Looking for a positive person who is: • Willing to take charge of a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities for both child and home care • Able to adjust to multiple competing and/or rapidly changing priorities. • Able to execute duties with tact and diplomacy while maintaining strict confidentiality. Your duties will include a wide variety of responsibilities on any given day such as: • Managing the day to day needs of two children, 9 and 11 • Transportation of children to events and organizing fun activities • General housekeeping – cooking, cleaning, laundry, organizing, supporting children to help with chores • Light gardening • Transportation of homeowner to appointments if necessary • Organization of appointments and schedules • Other administrative tasks, as time allows The balance between child care and home care will shift, depending on the day. The children are not in the home full time. Required Skills, Abilities and Experience: • Enjoy being around and working with children • Patience • Driver’s license and vehicle • Proactive approach with the ability to plan for and manage short and long-term tasks • Strong critical thinking ability with superior organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and command of the English language (both oral and written) • High regard for personal privacy and confidentiality.
