Housekeeper Job in Canyon Lake, Texas

We are currently hiring for our HOUSEKEEPING department to work our 2023 Spring/Summer season. Mystic Quarry is a modern glamping resort located in Canyon Lake in the heart of Texas Hill Country, 1 mile from the Guadalupe River. Mystic Quarry is designed for those who camp and those who don’t – our accommodations range from tiny houses, tipis, safari lodges and cabins to RV sites and tent sites… Our motto is “Seek a Higher Campground” because we believe that we elevate the common glamping experience for our guests. This is partly achieved by maintaining a beautiful, CLEAN park. Housekeeping responsibilities include: • Daily cleaning of communal spaces • Stripping units after guests depart • Washing blankets • Making beds • Cleaning accommodations thoroughly and efficiently • Replenishing room supplies • Communicating unit status to the office staff • Keeping housekeeping cart and bins stocked Requirements: • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures. • Adaptability i.e. the ability to work independently without direct supervision sometimes but also being able to work with a teammate other times. • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull • Ability to climb into lofts in tiny houses • Ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally • Comfortable interacting with staff and guests in a professional and friendly manner
