Housekeeper Job Description Housekeepers are responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat, and tidy. This includes any indoor household cleaning and organizing tasks assigned by the employer and regularly include daily cleaning "projects" (e.g., cleaning a messy closet, fish tanks, refrigerator cleaning and more). Typical responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping floors and changing and laundering linen. Heavy cleaning including cleaning windows and furniture, outside maintenance as well. Housekeeper skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Self starter and motivated • Able to follow house rules and handbook • Non Smoker • 5 years’ experience with residential housekeeping • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening • Advanced knowledge of cleaning products, implements and practices • Willingness to maintain confidentiality • Reliable mode of transportation required Benefits/Schedule • Guaranteed Hours 20-30 Hours per week ($20-$25 per hour) • Paid Holidays • Monday-Friday 8:30-2:30 • Flexible on start and end times • Can give more hours if needed to complete tasks
