Housekeeper Job in Kensington, Prince Edward Island

Description: Nice to meet you! My name is Lori. I am a fulltime mom to a 15 year daughter and 2 year old cockapoo puppy! After relocating back to PEI from the US two years ago, I renovated a wonderful beach house on the North Shore and we now are lucky to call it our home year-round. I work in high-tech and are fortunate to be able to work from my home office, however I am back to work full-time and that leaves little to no time for house keeping duties. So I am looking for someone who can come in, one day a week, and provide our home with a thorough cleaning. Scrub the floors, dust everything, clean bathrooms, change sheets (two beds), clean kitchen, empty dishwasher, finish up any dirty dishes, etc. And as you get to know where things go in our home, just help tidy up... anything to help a working mother out. :). And every two months or so, I'd love a deeper cleaning (wiping down all the baseboards, windows, cabinet doors, etc.). We live on a private dirt road and right along the shore, so a lot of dust and dirt seems to find it's way inside the house. :(. I don't mind paying for someone to be here 6 or 7 hours each week if that is what is required to do a good job. I am just looking for someone who will come in and care for my home as if it were their own home. We are located in Seaview, but I will factor travel time into a negotiated rate. My aim is to find an experienced and trustworthy candidate who has availability on the same day each week (ideally Thursday or Friday). Although we can be flexible for the right candidate.
