High End Housekeeper BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Work experience: • Must have worked as a Housekeeper in high-end homes for 5-8 years. • Must have excellent organizational skills – duties listed below. • Must have basic cooking skills. Other Skills: • Home entertainment systems operations • Basic computer skills Important Qualities: • Must be honest, trustworthy, and dependable. • Must have previously worked in high-end homes. • Must be organized and have the ability to perform housekeeping duties well. • Attention to detail and works well under pressure • Flexible schedule (some weekends required) • Very important to have consistency in employer and positive references from past employers (e.g. preference is for someone who stays with one employer for a long period, not someone who jumps around.) • There will be a standard background/credit check conducted for all applicants – successful candidate must be in good standing and have no criminal records or issues with the background check. JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES: • General housekeeping of the entire residence (floors, walls, windows, furniture, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, living area, pool area, etc.) • Laundry, ironing, and steaming of all clothes and household linens and logging in/out dry cleaned items • Knowledge of fine clothing and fabric care • Packing/unpacking luggage and preparing clothing for ease of access by Principal • Assistance with hair & makeup as needed • Grocery shopping • Cooking healthy meals • Organize all areas of the house (storage spaces, closets, pantry and cabinets) and keeping them organized • Maintain all of antiques and silverware (including polishing) • Shop for all household cleaning items, bedding, and food items and keep supplies stocked • Running errands Note: This is a “live-out” position and the successful candidate will need to have reliable transportation and be living within a 20 mile radius of Highland Beach, FL.
