Housekeeper Job in Manotick, Ontario

Hello, We are a family of three in Greely who are seeking a housekeeper. We need help to tidy up and clean our house. We are looking for someone who is meticulous in their cleaning. We want someone who does not cut corners and is proud of and enjoys their work. We will supply all of our natural cleaning supplies, mops, rags, vacuums, as we prefer not to have cross contamination with other peoples homes. We are Celiac and we let company know not to bring in any food to our home as we cannot risk any gluten contaminating our home. However there are snacks and drinks here if needed. We would like to start off with around 10 hours per week but we are flexible. If that goes well and you are doing a good cleaning job, we are open to adding more hours and more tasks and responsibilities. We could look at helping with errands, grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning out our vehicles, helping with our daughter, cat care, fish tank, recycling bins, some cooking and gardening if it works out for all parties involved. Possibly you will notice some job in and around the house that we missed. We could possibly change the job to a part time live out nanny at some point if all works well. Cleaning tasks would include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchen clean and disinfect, microwave, fridge in and out, outer oven, cat areas, garage floor, windows, mirrors, walls, cleaning doors in and out, cob webs, garbage removal, washing floors and scrubbing floors where needed. Basically if you think it needs cleaning then it can be done. Whatever you are able to do and do well, then we don't have to spend the time to do it. The other important thing to mention is if you are sick then we will ask you to not come into our home, as we don't want to get sick. I wouldn't want to clean and disinfect the entire home after a housekeeper just cleaned everything. If we are sick we will let you know and give you the option of coming here or not. We think that this is the polite thing to do and a good way to take care of each other. Depending on the starting rate, (we were thinking of $14 per hour), we are open to giving you a raise every 3 or 4 months with a review.
