I casually babysat 2 children for a couple months before I began a steadier babysitting job. The children were infant and 3 years old. I then worked for 2 summers as a caregiver to 3 children who were 4, 7, and 10, everyday from about 6 am until 4:30pm. I love toddlers and infants and am very good with them, i've always loved children and have always been told I will make a great mom. Working long days as a caregiver to three kids I did have many responsibilities which included meal preparation, keeping the home neat and tidy, playing with the children so they are kept busy and happy. I often planned little things that I would do with them for the day. I really enjoyed my time with these children and looked at them as my own siblings. I love the outdoors and I love to take the children outside and engage them in outdoor activities because its good for them to be outside and its always fun for them! From my experience babysitting I have learned that out of respect I must have their home exactly how the parents left it, which means I clean up after myself and the children. I was very good with keeping the home neat and tidy and following the instructions I was given by their mother. I know that my full attention must be towards the children and that anything can happen at anytime, children are curious and they can get into a lot of things. I am only 17 but I am a very mature and responsible teen.
