The house is 744 sq. ft with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. Regularly scheduled shifts occur every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This shift may be rescheduled upon mutual agreement of the employer and the housekeeper. Employment begins on Wednesday, June 6th, 2014. Cleaning Responsibilities - Weekly Laundry - laundry to be done will be in clothes baskets. Wash, dry, and fold up to two loads. If a third load is necessary, wash and then place in dryer, but it is not necessary to fold Kitchen - organize/clean table, stove top, countertops, front of refrigerator, sweep and mop floor Living room - organize/clean coffee table, vacuum couch and chair, sweep and mop floor, dust, Bedroom - organize and sweep as necessary, clean ceiling fan and dust Office - sweep and mop, dust, wipe down desks Do dishes (if necessary) - no more than one dishwasher load. When done, empty dishwasher Bathroom - clean sink and toilet, mirror, bathtub Empty all trash and take trash out Place all recycling in recycling box according to Lake Are Disposal requirements Cleaning Responsibilities - Monthly (deep cleaning on a rotating basis) First week - deep clean kitchen - inside of appliances, blinds and window, doors, clean outside of cabinets, clean/organize below sink Second week - deep clean living room - extensive dusting and organizing, blinds and window, front door Third week - deep clean bedrooms - blinds and windows, light fixtures, doors, wash sheets Fourth week - deep clean bathroom - shower curtain, window, inside/below cabinets, shower and bath tub Fifth week - sweep basement, vacuum basement steps, dust Pet We have a redbone coonhound named Georgia (approx. 60 pounds). She is quiet and harmless. If she does get in your way, it will only be because she is scared. A couple of things to keep in mind: Dont feel bad if you scare her - especially while operating equipment of sweeping. Everything scares her, and she will get over it quickly. If she is on the couch and you need her to move, point down and say Get down. If the weather is good, the best thing to do is to let her out into the backyard (its fenced - make sure the gate is closed). She is not allowed in the bathroom, the bedroom, the office, or the basement As you clean, she will almost certainly stay out of your way by hiding under a table. This is no cause for alarm. Its OK to give her a small treat if you need her to do something, like get out of the way. Key and Security You will be provided a key for entry to the house. Should the key be lost or not returned upon termination of employment, the housekeeper will be responsible for the cost to change all locks. Please lock all doors upon leaving. Cleaning Supplies All cleaning supplies will be provided by the employer. In the event the employee must purchase something to complete the job (must be approved in advance), the employee will be reimbursed on the next regular paycheck. Wage Housekeeper will be paid a wage of $10 per hour. Housekeeper will be paid on the first Wednesday of the month for all work performed in the previous month. Payment will be by check, left for the housekeeper to pick up. As required by law, FICA and medicare taxes will be deducted from the paycheck. Federal income tax will not be withheld unless requested by the employee. Bonus A monthly bonus of up to $25 (payable on the final paycheck of the month) will be paid, depending on the performance of the housekeeper. This bonus may be adjusted or withheld at the employers sole discretion. Overtime Overtime beyond the schedule above must be mutually agreed upon by employer and housekeeper.
