Housekeeper Job in Ajax, Ontario

We are looking for a housekeeper who is able to attend to our home with integrity and attention to detail. We require a clean, sanitary, comfortable, tidy environment for our household. MAIN JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Empty and clean trash containers Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner Clean and wash mirrors, tubs, showers Ensure all rooms are cared for an inspected according to standards Wipe down glass surfaces Sort, wash, load and unload laundry Sort fold and put away laundry Iron and press clothing and linen Maintain all cleaning equipment and material in a safe and sanitary working condition Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements Check and purchase groceries and household supplied to maintain adequate levels Maintain record of expenditures Occasionally plan and cook meals for employer Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to hygiene standards Clean appliances Run errands for employers KEY COMPETENCIES Attention to detail Customer focus Reliability Ability to listen and follow instructions Effective communication skills Adaptability Planning and organizing Team work Integrity Honesty High energy levels Ability to work unsupervised Previous housekeeper experience is preferred.
