General Summary: Responsible for maintaining resident units and laundry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times. 2. Assist residents with morning activities. 3. Clean rooms; Cleaning includes lighting fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets. Also includes a thorough cleaning of the bathroom and vanity areas. 4. Replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, facial tissue, towels etc. 5. Maintain a clean and orderly Housekeeping cart and restocks it daily. 6. Report any damaged or inoperable room items to Maintenance via a work order. 7. Maintain other areas of the unit in a clean and orderly condition, (eg. living room, kitchen, halls, etc.). 8. Be able to lift and carry 30 pounds; push and pull 60 pounds. 9. Follow cleaning procedures as trained by Kitchen Manager. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. CPR and First Aid Certification. 2. Knowledge of general fire safety. 3. Knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention. 4. Ability to maintain composure in a stressful environment. 5. Ability to plan and prioritize work. 6. Ability to communicate. Education and Experience: This position requires the equivalent of a High School Diploma/GED and a Valid Driver License.
