Housekeeper in Brampton, Ontario

Hello I am applying for the position indicated on your job posting. I will provide you with 10 years of housekeeping experience which I gained through my employment with Brampton Civic Hospital. My duties included but were not limited to daily cleaning of roughly 20 to 25 rooms per day performing the following tasks such as touch points, cleaning off floors , removal of linen and garbages, biohazardous containers and canisters,dusting, restocking supplies, discharge cleaning of patient rooms full 25 point inspection of rooms for Isolation cleans such as MRSA, Airborne, Droplet and CDIF requirements, while adhering to strict infection control procedures. I am also trained to deal with bedbug removal, radiation rooms as well as upkeep of public washrooms, patient waiting rooms, staff lockers, nourishment rooms, nursing stations, entire nursing units as well as lobby areas. I have also been able to maintain my experience while in housekeeping by also providing personal care for a client within the community, utilising my Personal Support Worker Diploma (PSW). This service ranges from assistance with transport to medical appointments, preparing meals, assisting with medication dispensing, light housekeeping and walks to the park. Presently my latest achievement is attaining my licence in the Medical Lab Technician field and will continue to strive for personal success and most of all optimum service in any job field I am employed in.
