Housekeeper Job in Weston, Connecticut

*** Full-Time Housekeeper, Weston, CT *** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Job Duties Wed/Fri (Preferably but can choose other day): • All aspects of general housekeeping of home and monthly cleaning of adjacent guest home • Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens • Purchase and maintain stock of household supplies; including but not limited to grocery shopping and cleaning supplies • Run errands and carry out special requests as needed; pick-up and serve meals as required Job Duties Sat/Sun (required): • Light housekeeping • Run errands and carry out special requests as needed; pick-up and serve meals • Dog care for 14 yr old small dog on weekends (walking, occasional bathing) Job Duties during Family Vacation (required): • Caring for family dog overnight when family is on vacation approximate 4 times a year at house or your own home which will include walks, occasional bathing, feeding and general care. Holidays (required): • Available to work on holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day in exchange for other days worked or additional pay. Requirements: • Able to manage weekly cleaning of Main House and monthly cleaning of lightly used Guest House. The Main House is 6,000sf, with five bedrooms, only 1-2 that are regularly used on weekends. • Must submit 2 excellent references from current and previous employers • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in a private home or estate • Positive attitude and initiative a must • Must have reliable car with valid driver’s license Starting Salary: up to $60k year gross based on experience w/compensation package Language: Must speak conversational English and have ability to communicate via phone and text. Job Type: Full-time, 32 hours per week. Extra pay for any extra hours. Work Days/Hours: Wed (9am – 5pm), flexible - can choose a different day Fri (9am – 5pm), flexible – can choose a different day Sat (10am – 6pm), required Sun (10am – 6pm), required Holidays, required - in exchange for other worked days off or additional pay
