Housekeeper Job in Boston, Massachusetts

About us: We are a gay couple, Kate and Alison, in our thirties with a small well-behaved schnauzer named Ollie. One of us is a restaurant chef who works part-time for a produce distributor, and the other works for a non-profit institution in Boston, housing low-income people. We are very friendly, outgoing, and easygoing people. About the apartment: It is a tiny one-bedroom third-floor walk up in Dorchester, about a ten-minute walk from the red line, with plenty of easy, non-permit on street parking out front. There is no dishwasher, and there are hardwood floors throughout. It takes us less then two hours to clean thoroughly. About the job: We need someone trustworthy and organized to come and do dishes, clean out the refrigerator, dust, clean the floors, and occasionally clean the bathroom. We mostly need help keeping up with the kitchen. We could even use help organizing the kitchen better. Occasionally, the dog will be here, and if he is, a ten-minute walk would be part of the job on those occasions. We can provide cleaning materials, or you can provide your own--whatever you like. About the schedule: Initially, we'd like to do this every other week, but there is a strong possibility we'd want to change that to once a week if we find that it's going well and making us happier in our home. Days, in order of preference: Friday would be best, followed by Thursday, Wednesday, and Tuesday. The closer to the weekend, when we'll be home enjoying our home, is best. Preference will be given to anyone who can come Friday or Thursday. The hours: no earlier than 10am, and finished by 4 pm--while we are away at work. The first session only would need to be on a Sunday or Monday, anytime, so we can meet and get to know you. About the compensation: We can pay $40 cash (plus another $30 worth of beautiful fruits and vegetables), OR, $50 cash only--your choice. So if you want me to bring you every week avocados, limes, mangos, tomatoes, bananas, cherries, plums, squash, lettuce, greens--you name it, it's yours, and it's even better than the stuff at whole foods.
