My mom was always someone who wanted the house spotless. I have grown up with a weekly cleaning day and its passed down on me. I hate having clutter around and I dont like things dingy. I can scrub at a spot with a toothbrush until its gone because that spot will be the only thing I see if its not dealt with. My mother always made sure the house was clean. We had something she called Shiny Sundays. Every Sunday we would wash walls, scrub floors, move furniture, wash windows, dust the top corners of the rooms, and even organize all the cupboards.
