I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself. I am a 47 year old mother of 3 recently divorced. When I was married, my husband and I owned our own company, AMD Custom Homes; however, when the economy went south, we lost our company due to lack of work and we moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. There wasn't much work for me down there, so I ended up moving back to Maryland where I lived my entire life and started working for The Cleaning Authority. I left the Authority and moved on to work for Absolutely Clean and quickly became a top employee. This was a few of us who received great reviews so we were the ones that would be the first to get any new clients. While I did enjoy the work, I realized a few things that I didn't like. For one thing, we used the same vacuum in everyone's home. THAT I didn't like at all...what if the house we cleaned just prior had fleas and eggs breading in their carpet...could they be transferred to the next house? I really didn't like that, so I ask that I use your vacuum. I also noticed that clients were overcharged (in my opinion) to cover the cost of salaries, equipment and supplies. See, most of the time the clients are asked to place their checks in a sealed envelope, but one time, this wasn't done. I was shocked to see the amount this gentleman was paying in regards to the amount it actually cost the business owner...it was crazy. So, I decided to go out on my own, but couldn't at that time because I signed an agreement that I would not have my own business or clean houses for one year. It has been almost three years now, and I'm ready start again!

Keep in mind, in addition to cleaning houses, I also help with parties. I will help you set up, or, you can give me a list of needs for the party and I will bring in a crew and do it all for you. When I say crew I come in with my family and not just anyone off the street.
I would prefer to come look at your house before giving you a price. If you already have someone cleaning for you, I will beat their price by 5% if you show me your last three bills. I can give you a FREE clean (first time clean excluded) if you refer me to a friend that leads to a new job for me. If you find me FIVE new clients, you would get FIVE FREE cleans!
I would first give you a price for the initial clean, and then you would be given a price or an hourly rate. Most companies would do a flat rate, and that is fine, but I do have one client who likes an hourly rate and that is $25.00/hour. I will also help with laundry, cleaning refrigerator, and more at an additional charge unless you take the hourly rate in which case it would stay the same. I will be more than happy to come out and give you a free estimate.
