Application: Nice to meet you! My name is Barbara . I'm searching for a home helper placement in Indiana. I can work alone or with others easily.....I am usually " Johnny on the spot" kind of person. I'm extremely flexible to accommodate my clients. I'm extremely strong & agile.. I love physical work and was tired of pushing papers with past office mgt., retail experience as well as experience working for a steel fabrication company and pyrotechnics business. I became a massage therapist and have recently moved back in the area. I built my own home along side my husband. I can take a joke and give it back ....within confines of a business relationship. Services And Training: I have a lot of my own tools, I have a dependable vehicle; and am able to travel to the site. I have 5 yrs experience cleaning houses professionally. I have cleaned privately owned frat houses for ISU campus. I also have prepped homes for resale: sanding, scraping the outside of houses to prepare for new paint. I worked with a crew and alone, that painted, scraped, cleaned all wood work beforehand, washed windows, Painted, mopped frat house, bloody, seriously, floors and sanded down cabinets for refinishing and painted.woodwork and walls; Installed insulation and pounded 16's into newly-sawn poplar 2X6's atop the joist for a new home; sanding floors, refinishing cabinets, staining, clear sealants, lacquer, shellac, etc. Even tried a bit of dry walling. Experience with refinishing furniture all my life, on the side and my next project will be to reupholster my antique chair. My hobbies include: singing, gardening, playing piano, giving to others, visiting nursing homes, volunteering, health, exercising, biking, herbal remedies,....I'm taking online courses in Herbs, Health coaching and Bible studies.
