Housekeeper Job in Napa, California

B & B Inn located in the St. Helena and Napa area seeking a housekeeping employee for 5 days per week 4-8 hours per day. Primary location is in St. Helena with occasional help at the 2nd location in Napa. PRIMARY DUTIES include but are not limited to the following: -Irons and folds linen and maintains ample stock on cart of supplies needed to clean rooms -Clean guest rooms:- vacuums, dusts, makes beds - Clean bathrooms (tub, sink, toilet and tiles), empties trash -Makes beds and freshens linens -Replenishes bathroom supplies (towels, soap, shampoo) -Moves furniture, straightens bed, curtains, bedspreads -Cleans interior windows, door panels and sills -Check all furnishings and equipment (lights, alarm clock, etc.) for needed repairs or maintenance -Sweeps, scrubs, and polishes: dusts furniture -Notify innkeeper of cleanliness of rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies -Reports all articles left behind by guests and delivers to the innkeeper -Must be able to lift 45 lb. and walk up stairs -Reports to Innkeeper -Assist innkeeper with breakfast if needed, help wash dishes and clean kitchen -Professional appearance and friendly manner required JOB EXPERIENCE - Previous experience is not necessary, training will be provided , though some Housekeeping experience helpful. Must speak some English -Have reliable transportation - As we are an Inn, staff will need to work weekends and holidays, depending on business flow.
