My name is Delmetia Terrell.. I'm 54 .. I was just checking out this ad that came in my email... I'm working at this time.. But looking.. I'm a head cook (mornings) at a Nursing and Rehab.. I've been there since 1994.. But between those years I've missed about 3 1/2 years... Because at those times I really needed the money... Raising 6 kids and a single mom at times.. But I always return back to the nursing home.. I'm a very hard and good worker.. I'm not a call in person or late coming to work person... I believe when your working, give it your all.. Do it right the first time and move on.. Or help the next person if they need it.. I prepare the food for two meals.. Breakfast and Lunch.. Whatever the menu has for that day.. Plus I fills up 17 water pitchers with ice for my dietary aide.. Washes the water pitchers from the hall every morning, while keeping an eye on my Breakfast meal.. Stop from time to time to answer the door.. Seeing what a resident needs.. Serve Breakfast to 80 some residents, clear steamtable, help clean dining room. Soak pots and pans.. Set up cart for Lunch. Start preparing Lunch meal, while cleaning, Serve Lunch.. Break down steam table, wash pots and pans.. Make sure that I don't leave nothing for the note crew to do..Before serving I have to take temps.. on food and for the frig and meat box... I hope that this can help..
