Housekeeper in Montreal, Quebec

Hello! I know you don\'t know me. And who wants to let a stranger into the nooks and crannies of their home? Luckily, our unfamiliarity doesn\'t have to last long. I was born and raised bilingual in New Brunswick, just outside of its capital. I danced for twelve years growing up, but when I got involved with student council in Grade 12 I decided to let that be my hobby instead. In university, when I moved to Halifax, it wasn\'t before long that I discovered my passion for acting, and became involved in quite a few plays during my time there. I spent the six months in the last year camping across Canada and California, and it was as blissful as it sounds! It was the trip of a lifetime, and I dream of the next country I get to explore. I\'m looking forward to getting off this continent! I recently moved to Montreal to try something new, and while there are still a lot of cards in the air I am absolutely enthralled being here. There is so much to do and explore! The culture is so vibrant here, not to mention the food. Growing up, I always had chores around the house and outdoors. Despite my hatred toward keeping my room tidy, I always enjoyed helping out elsewhere — especially cleaning the bathrooms! There\'s something cathartic about scrubbing a bath or cleansing a mirror. I\'ve lived on my own since I was 18, and having lived with a few roommates over the years who had not grown up in a home with chores, I am used to keeping up after a household. Needless to say, I enjoy living alone now. When it comes to dusting, sweeping, washing, scrubbing, tidying and everything in between, I\'m your gal! I\'m pretty handy and a hammer and screwdriver don\'t scare me. I\'ve done a bit of yard work in the past, and I have a lot of experience painting. Having grown up in a household where chores were the norm, I grew up doing all of the above on a regular basis. My father has in own company and for a few years I cleaned their offices as well. I find cleaning quite cathartic and nothing puts me in a cleaning mood more than cleaning a bathroom! A lot of the jobs I've had in retail and in the restaurant industry have involved a lot of consistent cleaning, but also my work in the film industry has given me a lot of experience doing odd jobs and running errands on a tight deadline.
