Housekeeper Job in New York, New York

An experienced Housekeeper with needed for a private Upper East Side home to assist with the daily cleaning of the residence. This person will work alongside another Housekeeper/Laundress. This is a very busy family of four, including two young children. Hours would be Monday through Friday 11:00am-7:00pm with flexibility to occasionally work additional hours. Start date is ASAP! Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  -All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and organization of residence -Maintaining a grocery/ household item list -Properly caring for clothing, fine garments and linens (laundry, ironing, folding, etc. -Managing closet organization and packing / unpacking for frequent travel -Keeping refrigerators and pantry clean, stocked, and organized -Running errands, managing special requests as needed -Ability to cook a family meal occasionally Requirements: -Fluency in English is a must! -Excellent references required from current and previous employer -Minimum 5 years work experience in a private home or estate -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
